My Oh My Makeup

Today i received my package of Coastal Scents 78 Piece Makeup Palette. It was very well packaged full of bubble wrap and all. The pots are very small, which i expected from watching reviews on youtube.

When i tried the product, some shades aren't very vivid and don't sit well - they fade very easily, especially when blending. I'm not impressed really, but happy to have a nice variety of shadows to own. I had ordered it when they had a 25% off sale.

I also bought one of their lip gloss, it was so tiny - the size of my pinky. A little sticky but you can't complain too much when you purchase it for $1.95 and you don't need to use much.

My overall opinion is that it is VERY OVERRATED!! $1 Elf products have better application. I am starting to think that people are getting sponsored or free products to review things on youtube, actually i don't think i KNOW. Several people have mentioned being sponsored to give reviews.

^^ I love this, it's a great accent to any nude lipsticks or lip glosses. Just a small amount goes such a long way. It is a very reflective baby pink frosty color, with a hint of golden sparkles. It is awesome, lasts long time and is not sticky.

^ Victoria Secret body mist, it has such a fresh out of the shower smell, not over powering and is fruity & flirty.


I love nude nailpolish, barbie pink lipstick, tiny coastal scents nude lipgloss & sunscreen.
I wear sunscreen even through the winter time. I love my skin and will protect it through thick and thin. Actually I'm a liar but I'm trying my best to look after my skin, i am a sometimes smoker, drinker and pass out with my makeup still on.

CRAFT: New Nyuyu Packaging

I created myself a nice new logo design and have a simple yet standout packaging. Who doesn't love vintage style logo's and black with white theme.

The new name represents a New You, (new = nyu) (you = yu).
I used card stock to print out the logo's on and to hang the earings onto. The back contains my links to the store and my blog.
They will be packaged in plastic sleeve which seals in the back.

CRAFT: romanticizing jewelry

I'm back and still trying to put my collection together, I'm thinking of bringing down my etsy listings and starting a new store. I'll have to re-set myself up.
I have new store name I'm thinking and working on my logo which is going to be so sick, I'll post a shot of it when I'm done.

One thing I'm having difficulty with is keeping track of material. I think I'll have to purchase some new earing hooks and better quality items for my work.

CRAFT: Earings & Bracelets To Be

Hey there, I'm back. I've been working on more earrings and working with bracelets. I'd like to work on more earrings for a collection. My current earrings all have a theme so far. I'm going to at least have 20-30 earrings by the end of the year. So far i have 13 for this collection.

I'm definitely aiming for quality and not quantity, affordable but still glamorous and in fashion. Taking pictures and presenting my work is a big part of my breaking through.I love photography, so why not combine the two for beautiful pictures in my blog.
My plan is to sell my items to boutique, in my next blog i guess i will share my project plan for my earring future.

CRAFT: More Jewel Treasures

Today i bought some fresh water pearls, and implemented them in my jewelry making. So i came up with two earrings and a pendant. The pendant i had wanted to try for a while, it's the eggs in a nest. It was really fun in that you can go about it your way, no mistakes, mistakes can be fixed. Totally ninja!

I wanted to go long in my earrings and not be scared to try out the long type of earrings.

CRAFT: Making Earings Jewelry

Jewelry is what i have been doing lately and besides snapping pictures and doing assignments, i decided i was done for the day and use my skills to make some pretty earrings that are of my style.
There was much to them, ripping apart, re-doing, re-making, re-designing. It's something i enjoy so much, and still working on this collection.







They were all my favorites!! I'll have to make myself some pairs. These will eventually be up in the future for purchase. Time to go to bed.
